39 Reasons hails from Los Angeles and unfortunately there's only a 3 song demo available. However, the band released a low budget CD/DVD combo from their cross-country summer tour performance in Philadelphia. The bands starts off with one of the songs from said demo, Lost Angeles which is a high-paced infectious rocker that gets the crowd warmed up in no time. The other two songs off the demo (Photograph and Garden) are played later.
Followers of the band have been able to hear songs like One More Chance (which should be a rock radio single), Tomorrow (which has great reflective lyrics and a passionate vocal delivery) and Six Feet Under (which may be the band's best track tied with Photograph) on their Myspace page. The band delivers on these songs during the live set.
They also play live favorites Down and Believe both of which heavily rely on an energetic instrumental drive and passionate vocal delivery. However, all these well-written songs can't hide that the recording quality of this show isn't very good. It's a great extra treat for the fans and when you get into their music, I would definitely try to get this package but if you really want to hear the songs, visit their online profile (primarily Myspace) and listen to proper recordings of the songs and you'll hear why Inner Ear Media is very fond of these alternative rockers from California.
