On the decision to bring LEFT to an end after 2014, the band said the following:
Recently we decided to call it quits after more than 10 years. This may seem surprising since we released a new record this year but it isn't really. Every year we ask ourselves if we can see ourselves grow further, whether artistically or playing live. Our latest release "Any Other Way" is where we peak. We gave it our all.
In our current form, LEFT, we don't see ourselves topping that. We want to prevent our energy, quality or quantity of shows to diminish and thus we would like to take the honorable way out.
At all times we gave all our energy to LEFT, not just on stage but also off stage. With the same amount of energy we are heading on a farewell tour all over the country, ending on saturday december 13, 2014 in our hometown of Eindhoven in Café Wilhelmina. We hope that every single one of you will join us in raising a glass. Thank you to all who supported us in these past years and thank you for an unforgettable time. It has been great.
